I liked the older stuff...

...but it seems to me that the stuff at the Register is pretty tame these days. It's good, but it's not GREAT...

After 9/11, Bush made two statements:
1. "Terrorists hate America because America is a land of freedom and opportunity."
2. "We intend to attack the root causes of terrorism."

Sounds like everything is going according to plan.

I think I agree.

I really can't recall anything in the new crop quite as diabolical as the mains-connected ethernet patch lead in the older stories... for instance. :-)

..both authors and readers, you've gotten bored because you figured him out. The BOfH formula was cool when it was subversive, but now it's passe.

Agreed

I had a very proud moment when I corrected him on a stupid Perl programming statement.

I was a bit scared, though, to have the BOfH pissed off at me. He agreed he didn't know crap about Perl.
