New MS settles for $202M in Florida
[link|http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/30287.html|http://www.theregist...tent/4/30287.html]

The settlement covers class action members who bought licenses to MS desktop and OS software between Nov 16, 1995, and Dec 31, 2002, for use in the state of Florida.

Bill, you might be able to get a piece of that.

New More of the same
Just like the California case, their actual losses from this settlement will be much less than $202M. Unless a lot of people in Florida use those vouchers for computers loaded with non-MS software, each MS title they buy will be money given back to MS. The remainder will go to schools that will fall in line and buy MS software.
