I'm curious what people (especially Andrew G) think about [link|http://www.appgen.com/toshiba/toshiba.html| Appgen preloaded on a Linux box].

It seems a decent approach to minimize support costs and reduce complaints about "We only support ________ version of Linux", especially if the price is reasonable. (BTW, it does use RH)

Changing subjects a bit, [link|http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=8505|here is The Inquirer Special on Desktop Linux] which is rather down on it. Although Linux on the desktop does have real problems, I think the author underestimates the costs of MS.
