only Karsten and imric came as a solo. Ben's lovely wife was in attendance...as well as n3's lovely SO, boxley's lovely wife and cheeldrun...
It was well attended and I am glad that you enjoyed yourself. We did stayt up a little late (or early...depending on your POV) This was the first year of no fireworks after dark...as we had no supply. Besides...these things are not exactly legal in my hometown.
Last year the police thought the display was pretty good...and they told me when one of the neighbors complained....otherwise they were content with leaving me alone.
Saw Karsten again on his way back through town...now he can cruise in the daylight with less eye strain.
And I got a copy of the old IWE archives.
