New Zope (or user) problem
Zope appears to be successfully installed but I cannot figure out how to **do** anything. Zope.cgi launches the appropriate page and I can look at the help & such, but trying to get into the "management" area fails with the message that I don't have authorization. ("No authorization header found")

I asked on one of the Zope lists but have not had a response.

Alpha processor (PC164 with 21164) running FreeBSD 4.3-release - currently installed (from ports): Apache 1.3.20 + mod_fastcgi-2.2.10 + mod_php3-3.0.18_2 + mod_php4-4.0.6_4 + mysql-server-(& client)3.22.32, python-2.1.1 and zope-2.4.0_1.

I tried both the Apache+SSL and Apache+mod_ssl ports but lots of things broke so I reinstalled vanilla Apache. I used zpasswd to generate a userID and password which match .htaccess requirements.... When I run phpinfo() it proudly declares that it's "powered by Zope." I am stymied.

Thanks for any suggestions,

craig

If not, no idea.

I usually avoid being a grammar/spelling pedant, but you clearly misspelled “should be shot into the sun.”
