I didn't feel nearly as dizzy afterward as everybody seemed to think I should be feeling. Am I good to go again? Post #8,320 by drewk 9/11/01 12:39:12 PM Reply	Generally every six weeks. That's the soonest the Red Cross will usually take you. Private blood banks may have different stantards. Depending on your blood type and your proximity to a catastrophe, the Red Cross may shorten that time, too. This is my sig. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I usually manage to hit that within a few days, but last time I donated I gave a double-red blood cell donation, which usually takes you out for 16 weeks.
