Having trained dogs for different purposes, observed humans in compressed stressed violent conditions as well as studied all things human. i have come to a few conclusions.
Humans collectively have not progressed from the dog pack mentality either at local or international level. The predator prey with us being omnivores includes canabalistic behavior that has to be used to judge what we do as nation states. This involves almost all transactions be it war or business. The human phrases machismo, face etc are just puffery on top of the snarling heap. I am a realist. Even religion which should lead us above our lesser natures becomes just another pack to contend with,
