Let's drop the moral equivalence right now.
Israel is a democracy. A real one. That makes all the difference in the world. Plus, it has far more respect for human life than its neighbors.
If Israel didn't have nukes, I'd be for giving them nukes. And I'd consider the same for South Korea, despite their attitude. I'd rather have missile defense deployed, but deterrence will do until then.
