New Re: Two more opponents to the settlement:

This is interesting - if you could learn to post in the same style in WoT - that is post a press item (without the trolling I SAY addins) & let other group memebers debate it - and even join in the dabate. You will be learning how to get along.

When you add your I SAY comments (in the style that you use in WoT) you are hijacking the posted news content, as some may be offended by your I SAY remarks but not all the news content of your post. So to then attack your post because of the I SAY (ofetn worded arrogantly) makes it seem like they are opponents of the content even when they are not - that screws up the interaction.

Her you have posted an item & because you have not commented, you are allowing the opportunity for others to do so.

Just offering you some good advice.

Cheers

New I don't mind...
...the "I say" comments so much. Granted in Politics and WoT they can be a little disturbing if your not of Marlowe's bent....

But he clearly marks his "take" on the link with the "I say" comment...I would be more concerned if he were to add his commentary >without< the "I say" in front...that would make it hard to discern between Marlowe and content.

New Disagree, to an extent.
Marlowe has one of the most consise quoting styles around, in my opinion. Link, then excerpt (clearly marked) then his opinion (also clearly marked). Although, you have a point about adding commentary in a reply to his own post. In highly volative forums, that might be advised.
