No, not drafting, but sending out data packets over a network or radio to a receiver device, the other CAD.

[link|http://sourceforge.net/projects/opendisp/|OpenDisp] and [link|http://sourceforge.net/projects/normadcad/|NORMADCAD] are two such projects that are working on open sourced versions of it, but have not yet given out any source code or documentation. Otherwise it is pretty much proprietary OSes and proprietary CAD software. One day, there will be an open sourced CAD solution out there. Someone, if not me, will do it. We need to get an Embedded Linux box that can run the CAD Software to keep the costs of our 911 Emergancy system down so that Fire Stations, Police Stations, Hospitals, etc don't have to pay $60,000USD every two years because the codes and programs change so much that new equipment needs to be bought. With Linux, just do an OS and Program upgrade when the codes change. The other companies have the 911 industry by the balls, someone should save it.

Anyway that is my story and I am sticking to it. :)
