This is my entire problem with Norm etc
mmoffit had a post which dealt with closeup personal loss. Immediately Norm chimes in with a post that tries to detach the loss mmoffit was feeling towards his own personal failings. That post to try to direct loss to a simply bogus whine for attention made me realize that even an issue that any man/woman hates to face was an opportunity to snivel further about his owsn suicidal fantasy. In that case was replied to that I was simply using him to laugh about his condition. Due to my location, and range he is immmune from the bitch slapping he deserves. I will always not be that far away

I wasn't offended.
I also didn't respond to him. And I wish no one else would. I've only read parts of some of the threads self-absorbed Norm has spun and I honestly can't understand why anyone would contribute to such tripe.
But, let me say thank you again to everyone who had kind things to say.

Not the way I saw it
if that was Norman, he was talking about the loss of his friend in 1999 who committed suicide, and himself as being his own friend who tried to commit suicide recently. It is more of a post that tells me he understands what it is like to lose a friend, or family member to depression, and saying that mmoffit was not alone in the Universe in feeling that way. I saw it more of a reaching out of Norman to someone else, even if he was using a different name.
I mean after all, you all forced him to use a different name after bashing him so much, he tried to come back as a fresh start as far as I can understand it, if that really was him. But I doubt that it was, yet, it could very well be. Norman has friends that he has invited here from the St. Louis area, so maybe it really was one of his friends or family that posted it and they were talking about Mike dying, and Norman recently trying to commit suicide?
We apparently see things differently, I see the good side of things about Norman, and all you apparently can see is just the bad side of things.
