What is the practical size limit of a PostgreSQL database? I'm not really that interested in theoretical limits, but as a practical matter, how big can PostgreSQL databases be and remain reasonably responsive?
And if every object in a database gets a unique object id, (and rows in tables get one too, I understand) doesn't that limit significantly the number of rows any group of tables can have?
Thanks in advance,
