It probably does stand for Solution. I just did a "cut and paste" from an email from my daughter.

It was interesting to me that she only sent that email to her brother, her father-in-law and me and not her mother or her sister (an engineer). Is that sexist? :)

New Found out from the horse's mouth.
The email was originally to be sent to my son only. He's an engineer, flies model airplanes, and often emails jokes. My daughter's husband told her to also email it to his father, a retired bureaucrat, who would appreciate the joke from that angle. I was added for "equal time".
