True story

My ex-wife told me that after I had met her family for the first time, she was asked,"Isn't he a little too old for you?" (I'm 10 years older than her).

Her reply....

"Oh, that's not a problem. He's very immature."

And what did my family say after meeting her for the first time?

My Dad ---

"You're not good enough for her."

My Mom --
"I'm glad for you, but does she know what she's getting into?"

Gotta love the confidence of family members. (Though it seems they were all prescient in this case. I'm divorced, aint I?)

And usually there's no reason not to, so I just go ahead. It's given me the strangest collection of hats"
