New Les Miserables/Broadway to close 3/15/2003
I heard about this from a friend the other day, and just saw the news myself on [link|http://www.lesmis.com|http://www.lesmis.com]. The [link|http://www.lesmis.com/news/showrelease.cfm?Key=222|Press Release] has got the pertinent details, as well as some intriguing facts and figures about the show.

I've seen Les Mis twice (once in London, once in Chicago), and it's moved me to tears both times. My highest recommendation to see this show any chance you get. Touring shows, Broadway, West End, whatever. Wonderful production, excellent story.

What if the hokey pokey really is what it's all about?

New Saw it in Sydney in the late 80s.
I'll echo your recommendation - I loved it.
John. Busy lad.
New It's a really good book too. ;-)
New Agreed
Had to read it in high school. A bit on the drier side (with calling the towns M--- sur M---, instead of Montreuil sur Mer(?)), which really throws ya off the first time you read it...But still a wonderful story, no matter which way you slice it.

New The TV version (with Depardieu) was remarkably un-sucky too.
