At the beginning of an intern's psychiatric rotation at a hospital, the young doctor went into each patient's room to introduce himself. The introductions went fairly routine until he came to one particularly memorable patient. While standing there reading over the patient's chart he noted that the patient frequently referred to himself as "Jesus" (quite common in the psychiatric wards). Thinking he'd be thorough, the intern asked the patient who told him he was "Jesus", to which he replied, "Well, God did".

His roommate quickly responded with: "No, I didn't".
