New So will search no longer find things that were edited out?
That could be a problem, if what you looking for is what someone said yesterday. Sure, it'll still be in the history, but if you cant find it ...

Maybe a checkbox on the search form to search edit history, too. (Depending on how you're storing the index, of course.)

Yes, it will be implemented. No, it isn't right now, because base functionality just searches current posts, not history. While the behavior that Scott found was interesting, it only let you search the first version of a post. Any versions after that were lost to the indexing engine.
