Camp David stuff is for... when it's become somewhat apparent that Both Sides are sufficiently wearied by recent dances, feints, ripostes - wearin the white gloves at The *Green Table and:

1) Indeed have a recognizable leader who will have - never Total say, but - significant say about 'next'..

2) One or both (normally) still have recalcitrant dogmatic Righteous hypocritical sanctimonious ... lobbying groups who don't ever actually agree on Anything.

3) A little TLC, sayings of Wise homilies and decent Martells ***** snifters + Cuban cigars.. might ease *both* into thinking about..

4) What.. later-on, their Cheeldrun will think about Daddy's performance .. at this critical juncture (to coin a phrase).

Anyone who thinks logic is Reason.. or that Reason is ever enough: get away from that pile of Wonder Woman comics and open up some EC Tales from the Crypt of Terror or even Mad from its beginnings as a comic book..

(I used to have 50+ of these masterpieces on the proper Care and Feeding of pompous homo-saps in heat)



* The Green Table - an exquisite short ballet-like operetta, players wearing masks, white gloves - and gesticulating with raised fingers / cut to heaped dead burned bodies er 'sent to back-up the gesticulations' / cut-back to the Old White Men gesticulatin.. some more / yada yada.

From '60s. Saw it in SF. Prolly not played a lot - causes too much audience squirming during, after and for weeks.

Stark. No words. Masterpiece IMhO...

IMO: the 'principles' should be chained in front-row seats for a bravura performance of this work. NOW. TeeVee cameras trained on Them and the actors, and broadcast on ALL channels everywhere.

No ads. No commentary. No talking heads. Music: G\ufffdtterdammerung, softly.. then crescendo, Finally sfz Sforzando !! Three minutes of silence broadcast. Fade to black.


Only true Shame can break this massive ego-headlock.
