Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Why can't I add a new topic in Hardware?
Just tried to post twice, no go. :-(

New In case it helps
I have slight reason to suspect that the failures wound up as forum ids 54076 and 54077. (The timing is right for that hole to be me.)

Cheers,
Ben

New More details
The problem is in the body of the post. I tried to post something else, it worked. I updated the body to what I wanted to post and the post disappeared. Same behaviour in another forum.

I have emailed the offending body to you. Hopefully it doesn't crash your email client. :-)

Cheers,
Ben

New Worked for me
I just posted in there...but did notice the 'date of last post' on the main page was 1999 something right before I posted.

Scott must've banned you from that forum...been doing bad things in there?? ;-)

New More complex than that
See the test forum.

New Related ?? no postee in Warz
See my test post in the Warz on Warz forum - made after obv-tests worked in (D'oh) the Test forum.

Betcha *now* there're 3 posts below Doug M's "bot post" [??] - but I can't see any of them, even after reboot, reload, nuke Moz. caches and reload Moz after etc. Another site: post, read normal-like. FWIW

ie I Could post a new topic in Warz, edit, add a 'thread' etc. to *That* topic but not to the thread directly below; below Doug M's post. Period. Also - nevva hoppen before here or elsewhere (to me, anyway).

I note that the 'loading bar' pauses about half way through uploading, then resumes.. after 15-25 sec resumes loading, with post --> /limbo. Preview worked normally each time. Time to get Dennis to bring his sniffer and see Where the stuff gets sent? (I don't do packet stuff, but it's fun to watch)

Oh well.. Gawd these machines are Fun! Kinda like owl entrails. (At least with scopes you can Tell when it's fixed.)

Ashton

Edit: obv works OK here! {sigh} same pause, at half-way point but Much briefer.
