Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Store in San Francisco.
The name of the store is "French Connection UK". So naturally, the sign outside says:

[link|http://www.frenchconnection.com/|fcuk]

It's rather jarring, but effective I guess.

Note that [link|http://www.fcuk.com/|[link|http://www.fcuk.com/|http://www.fcuk.com/]] is something completely different.

Cheers,
Scott.
New And how long has it been there?
There's been one of those on George St, Sydney for at least 3 years - probably longer.

Wade.

"Ah. One of the difficult questions."

New No idea.
It was new to me. I was out there for a few days for a conference...

Struck me as a jarring name for a fashion store. :-)

Cheers,
Scott.
New Saw a new variation of a fcuk t-shirt the other day
Instead of the usual 'fcuk' or 'fcuk fasion' this one said 'fcuk in hull'. (Maybe they're based in Hull? Who knows...)

Anyway, I was amused, as per usual :) On a slightly different tack...

I guess these won't make much sense depending on how widespread the brands are, but there are plenty of brand parody shirt around, like MDMA - instead of NRMA (car association, insurance company), and 'Wriggly - Juicy Root' instead of 'Wrigleys - Juicy Fruit'. (chewing gum)...
John. Busy lad.
New And then there's always the T-shirt that says...
Chicken Shirt!.

New At least 2-3 years
For awhile they wouldn't let the store open - finally they (most likely) paid off Willy and voila.
I am out of the country for the duration of the Bush administration.
Please leave a message and I'll get back to you when democracy returns.
