Fire Department said everyone within a two-block radius of the site was ordered out of the area. I say: Terrorism? Or just a problem with a fuel line? Post #45,363 by Ashton 7/12/02 6:19:25 PM Reply	Could have been a gas explosion. Perhaps it was crammed full of legislators and Corporate PACS, and the %-level of explosive mixture was exceeded. Were lots of $ large-bills seen floating around the debris? Hope this forensic tip helps. Ashton

They said a man standing next to the van was also on fire. A doctor from a nearby building attempted to help the victim. methinks if I were on fire I would NOT be standing still!! still too little information in the article to tell........ ........if it's for free...... it's for me ;)

I don't know when I was taught it, but the saying, "Stop, drop, and roll" is the best thing that can be done, even if there is nothing to actually smother the flames. At least the ground (even if concrete) will snuff some of the flames. And if you're lucky, you've got someone nearby with a coat or a blanket that they can throw on you too smother the flames. Famous last RPG quotes: "I'll just shoot this fireball down the dungeon passageway..."
