New Womanly arguments and how to simultaneously win and lose
Bill Burr has an excellent take on how it's like to argue with a woman. Once you are obviously right, they distract to the side. So my woman follows the standard path and then I said:

Obviously this is a democrat versus Republican style argument. I have a point and you try to distract with other things. This is infuriating to her and she walks out the room. So will she think about her wrongness or will she simply come up with additional side arguments? There is no winning here but I can't lose. I got facts. Facts won't matter to her of course. But we shall see.
New You're doomed either way.
Lose, and you've lost.

Win, and she'll be pissed at you forever.

New Nah, came close though
She came back 15 minutes later and tried to reopen a 12-year-old argument. I refused. She disappeared again. A few hours later I went in to talk and that's when she told me not until you apologize for calling me a c***.

What?!

Not a word I typically use and would never call you.

That's what Republican means to her.

Oh, ok. I'm sorry. Won't do that again.

All better.
