My father was a CFO. In order to be a CFO you need to be an accountant. Accountants spend their lives learning about this. I worked for an accounting continuing education firm. Half their courses were on the subject of GAAP. All of their instructors were experts in the subject. What the f***?

I used to think my dad was just like Weisselberg. He worked for a rich guy and it was his job to take care of the rich guy's money. I was so wrong.
