He will be re-elected.
Well, Texans are nuts.
He will be re-elected. |

Repubs in state government are in no hurry
to push forward and prosecute him. After all, he's been indicted for over 5 years now and there is no sign that a trial will actually begin during his lifetime. Of course he'll be re-elected - Texas is still predominantly Republican, even though it's largest cities are mostly blue. Trust me, it ain't just Texas.
Edit: Apologies, Drew. I didn't see your post before submitting mine. 17 states have filed an amicus brief backing the Texas suit. For those playing along at home, the list of states that you'll never want to visit are Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah and West Virginia. I'm so glad we made the list. I'd hate to think anyone, anywhere would ever be led to believe that coming to Indiana was ever anything but a very bad idea no matter the circumstances. bcnu, Mikem It's mourning in America again. |
