Way up here in the Northeast corner of the malignant shit funnel that is Indiana, we've only two confirmed cases in my county of residence. I had to run out to the market yesterday for a couple of items. I, thankfully, have a mask and I carry a hand sanitizer in the car, which I use both before and after entering any place with more than zero people and in the past two weeks I've done that exactly twice for less than five minutes each. As I drove down the road through the little town I live near, I was astounded at the groups of people walking shoulder-to-shoulder down the sidewalks. Equally alarming were my four neighbors crammed into a small well house attempting to fix a neighbor's well.

In three or four weeks time I expect a good number of those around me to suffer the same fate as your friend-of-a-friend-of a friend.
