Doing the following will not work: dir foo.bar dir "foo.bar " rd foo.bar rd "foo.bar " rd "foo.bar?" About the only thing that will work is: dir "foo.bar?" None of the explorer stuff works either (right click) - rename or delete - though it will display the contents of the directory.
