Our PM is feeling the heat.
The heat, that is, of an electorate pissed off that he is leading in the wrong direction. Scott Morrison took a holiday out of the country and was uncontactable whilst the biggest bushfires Australia has ever seen ravage millions of hectares. Fire service chiefs are public that they tried to talk to him months ago about this happening and he wouldn't meet with them, let alone take any action to address the fire risk. The calls for him and his government to take meaningful action to reduce our CO2 emissions and manage water properly are the loudest they've ever been. (And the right-wing shock jocks are amping up their noise, too.)
