Glenn Gould writ this!

(Saw him perform in Berkeley) .. his Partitas and similar.. have always deemed The Apex of what a pianoforte Can do, prperly operated. Died 50-ish. Sadly.
Well ..beats Mozart, Shelley, Schubert et al but still..
