I see a lot of copies of this pic "supposedly" proving that it was Iranian equipment. Now looking at the center missile part I see what appears to be western numbers and letters inscribed on the side. Pretty sure that persian numbers and part numbers would not be western in nature or am I wrong? Even russian gear doesnt use the western alphabet

And the article is not even connected to the image. The Scud and derivatives do not have rounded fins like those in the photo.

The closest I could find is the Russian made Kh-55. Iran uses it but so does Russia and it has been deployed in Syria. Maybe Vlad is trying to get a better ROI on all that work they put into 2016.
