Methinks that, should the adorers of The Menace also-too snicker, elide/ignore or guffaw(again) over *THIS*, then we have arrived at the Event for Cthulhu
to decimate this anti-all-Life State; this means not, annihilate '10%' as some misinterpret: it means 'reduce-to-One-Tenth' the numbers of anti-humans extant.
Should this antediluvian mindset prevail sufficiently to re-"vote"-in this Scale of Viciousness-beyond words, via hook. crook, cyber-war manipulations ..or for just-plain misanthropic-Hatred: it would be left to the balance of the planet to Demonstrate in unprecedented ways: directly at our spinelessness, our collective inability to identify a Monster and to remove it.
Already we shall never 'recover' from the laser-view of just What Muricans are and what the level of national ignorance has sunk to. To-date alone would require generations to somewhat mollify. But to run with recent levels of Mind-dysfunction in the highest Office and DO NOTHING?
I wot that this final-spike in the faux-wood coffin would/Will? fuel a boycott, an intentional attack on the beloved-Mammon/Our-God as leads to financial ruination: to accompany all the moral, ethical and IQ matters as have been uncovered now to all. Because the planet is aware-enough that in dis-US: $$$ transcends alles in die welt. It's not just that we are incorrigible/we are; no contest.
It's that we are already The Assholes to such depth that, most parents in the world would lovingly-strangle their offspring: if they had evidence that s/he would turn out Just Like US.
(Even were we Lucky in 2020?) it will take Generations to divert that river through theAugean American Stables. All here will be discorporated long before that job even gets a diffident Start. All that stoked-ƒeare of cold-war nukes, that birthplace of the Military-Industrial-Medical complex had, I thought a certain admirable quality in its self-fulfilling Power+Ego denouement: death, often so quick that the message never got to the already atomized-brain, ergo--no 'pain' eh?
But Today's prospects are the maudlin sentimentality of: hordes bemoaning I Won't have time to get More Stuff! and equivalant pewlings of that ocean: who cannot, emotionally or literally, grasp the concept of the Exponential Function (Teller's only koan?)
