New Battery question
Just got a new phone, Google 3A XL.

Trying to remember if battery memory is still a thing. Is it better to actually let it drain before charges, or is it okay to just leave it on the charger and then walk away with it as needed?

New The latter.
You don't need to (and shouldn't!) drain it before charging. Current phones are far more capable of managing their charging than humans are. Recent Android versions can slow the charge down if it thinks the phone would end up sitting for long periods at 100% if it didn't.
