Welcome to IWETHEY!

New The origin of the phrase, if that's what you mean, is "IWE", from the "InfoWorld Electric" forums.
Then somebody, can't recall who, must have added the "They". Perhaps in analogy to "my children; your kids; their brats"?

The specific typographical design, with the colours and the subscript "we", I have always assumed is Scott's.

New tseliot? One of those oldsters...
New Well, that's about the Initials.. or {ugh} TLA, then.
I meant the--by no means Obvious--re-Purposing of them there Initials
(even pre-'GRR', as the devious-mechanism behind the Whole Ball-of-Wax.)
SImpler? Who/or which-group of minds: came. up, with. That ..hmmm?

GMTA ..or Do they?
New I don't remember that
Someone involved with setting up the original ezBoard, perhaps.
Regards,
-scott

New Thanks for trying.. we all use 'IIRC' more frequently now: odd, that ;^>
New The subscript of 'we' was definitely AdminiScott's idea.
I remember doing an "i we they" logo that shortly predated the current one in all caps in a block font in the current colours. I don't remember who chose the blue-red-purple colours.

Wade.
New Don't remember who either, but it's new/active/visited link colors

Drew
New I think I just liked the colors
But without the intent of reflecting links. But who knows at this point; that was a long time ago.
