New On moving climate + other researchers to Kansas
WaPo.

Another stage in the ongoing..
HowToBS a sufficiently large %320M people successfully .. to disbelieve damn near every scientist on the planet.

(Well, you could manage that most successfully in the dis-US, as it shrivels and snivels.)

So then: how about when the scientists developing New Nukes walk out?
As. If. umm, never mind.
New I once thought I'd died and gone to hell.
Then I realized, "This isn't hell. This is Kansas."
bcnu,
Mikem

It's mourning in America again.
New On moving climate + other researchers to Kansas, why not dorothy?
We have a tremendous loss of talent because offices are sitting in DC and nobody in their right mind wants to live and work in that hellhole (sorry nother) that is why you have senior hacks that are HB1 contractors from India and clueless bureaucrats because anyone smarter than a drumpf sandwich doesnt want to deal with the traffic, cost of housing and other miasmas.

So why not move the USDA "Us Department Of Agriculture" to a place where they actually HAVE some fucking agriculture?
"Science is the belief in the ignorance of the experts" – Richard Feynman
New Oooh, Oooh, let me.
Why not? Because the knuckle-dragging mouth breathers that constitute our farmers don't do science.
bcnu,
Mikem

It's mourning in America again.
New The point is to disband that department. Too much science!
They'll reconstitute it from local knuckle draggers whose "science" is based on faith.

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

-- Isaac Asimov
New Farmers live and die by weather
So they're more on board with the science than the pundits and politicians. But they care about the financials more than saving the planet, or humanity.

Bankruptcies will fix that.
