New "BREAKING: Speaker Pelosi just held a major press conference and said Donald Trump is engaging in
"an assault on the Constitution of the United States."

Is THIS? a sufficiently succinct-Truthiness to start that 6'-dia Tungsten beach-ball rolling down Constitution Avenue.
New is this the second or third one today?

New Dunno.. a half-dozen would be about right though.
New And yet, she persisted...
...in refusing to do her constitutional duty and start impeachment proceedings.

If "an assault on the Constitution of the United States" isn't grounds for impeachment, then WTF is?!?

New (That last query--yet un-Seriously answered)--redounds from first utterance: on Day 1 of Orangeness.
New Patience, grasshopper.
Only 40 Representatives support an impeachment inquiry so far. Nancy knows that the process of building support takes time.

The hearings are coming - we just need to be patient.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Pelosi can count to 60 that is why she doesnt impeach

New Doesn't need to start with 60
Get sworn testimony on the evening news for a few weeks and public opinion will shift.

New sworn testimony by whom about what? you want trump for another 4 years go ahead and impeach
it would have to be a lot better than the mueller report, it did not have enough there, there.
You remember Holder and fast and furious? He ignored subpoenas and was cited for contempt that case is just now winding down in the courts.

New Severe Caution is the rule of the day.
Should impeachment be initiated, it would go to the Senate for trial. The rabid GOP Senators have already stated that they will immediately clear Trump of all charges.

This would allow Trump to go into the next election with boasting rights to a clear victory - an invalid victory, but why would he care? This would be extremely bad for a Democrat candidate.

The better strategy is to keep piling on and publicizing clear reasons for impeachment, and non-impeachable crimes and infractions as well. Should Trump win re-election, or look like he's about to win re-election, that's the time to hit him with impeachment.

If he does win re-election, time to cripple his administration with impeachment and umpteen investigations.

New Good plan..
I suspect not hugely different from that of the intelligent, uniquely-Experienced (un-faze-able??) Speaker.
(One Hopes, anyway..)

Further Hope: that those fire-brands who have 0-experience of subtlety-in-Strategy, even less in bitchin'-Tactics: shall next S.T.F.U. {sigh}
New pretty much
