Then again, I've only lived in Indiana for 33 years, so perhaps it's still too early to expect to have any first hand experience with it.

I almost became a teacher in this cultural tundra and with each passing day am pleased that I did not.

When we stopped for *real* Catfish at a wayside diner: they provided place-mat papers with Praying Preying Hands®™. As this seemed ..more of a litmus-test of the psyches of customers, I was unanimous in turning-over the apparition, thence a cool white blank.
(Though I wondered aloud {er, quietly} to cohort ..if license-plate Records might be spawned, sent to local vigilantes-of-the-Cloth?/or-even-cheap-paper.)
