Agreed
The top link is AMAZING. This next one, ehhh. |

Tough crowd

Yeah
I didn't even bother posting a link to Blotted Science's "Synaptic Plasticity", cuz I don't reckon these guys >points at y'all< are even ready for a technical death metal supergroup who composed an album using the twelve-tone technique created by Schoenberg in 1921.

I doubt I'll like it, but that doesn't mean I don't want to hear it

They can't all be winners
This one sounds more like an SNL parody of death metal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8Jjy3Zy7kk&list=RDgtzb0FTN4BE&index=24 -- Drew |

Yeah, DF is awful
I have a friend who's massively into them (and black metal generally). It's mostly just lo-fi pish to my ears, though. If you enjoying technical metal with an adventurous bent, though, check out Coroner's "Grin" album - start with the track Serpent Moves. |

They're clearly very skillful, and doing all that on purpose
But that "singing" style has gone a few clicks too far down the road. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Their songwriting is for shit, too. It's all one level. That Blotted Science one though, the pyrotechnics are in service of the composition, not an end in themselves. -- Drew |

Does sir fancy trying a drop of the Italian Psychedelic Techno Doom?
|
|
Wow
When it opened up it reminded me a bit of Black Sabbath from my youth, but then it got much better. |

Yep, love Archy
The collaboration she did with Bloodywood was just incredible. |

(Would this be the audio which should accompany any pix of the Orange Menace's mouth, flapping?)
I kill the sound ..usually; can read his square-shaped mouth-thing ... for the trice before OFF. |
