New There was a TV show years ago...
A very Aussie TV show called "Good Guys, Bad Guys". Comedic drama, I guess you could call it. Lead character was a disgraced former cop trying to run a clean life but with a soft spot for damsels in distress.

Anyway! One of the other main characters had Tourettes. Yes, the type that involves verbal tics. The show was praised for the highly accurate depiction.
