New They've always liked the actual contents of it
It's just the "Obama" part they don't like.

New Perhaps they'll call it ACA again. :)
But, they really mean preexisting conditions covered at way more money if you can afford it. And no coverage for preexisting if you don't, meaning no health insurance period. Then the young and healthy can have the cheap junk insurance.

Next, they'll say that hospitals do nor need to accept patients that have no insurance and can not pay. American self-reliance and all that.

That's no solution.

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

-- Isaac Asimov
New Your point on pre-existing is spot on.
Back in the 1990's Indiana barred exclusion for pre-existing conditions. I was working in the healthcare insurance industry then. What did we do when the law came into effect? Jacked the quoted premiums up 300% or more so that our quote was declined.

Capitalism has NO PLACE in our healthcare delivery system.
