New Guardian on: 'Too many people are emotionally unhinged about Trump'
ƒeare: it's the definition of Power, by Drumpf his-'self' (if he has one inside--at all.)
(Guardian is also the best source of non-cliche reporting on Florence.)
Go figure re the Language-problem of most Muricans, as muddles every clear Thought into jello-nailed-to-a-wall.

A newsman of the old school, he evidently likes to let his reporting do the talking. In an era when the line between news and opinion is increasingly blurred, when even Bernstein offers punditry on CNN, Woodward is perhaps not in his natural habitat touring the TV, radio and podcasting studios being asked to serve up polemical soundbites with viral potential.

Instead, in Fear, he meticulously builds a case against Trump’s fitness for office. He has no need to shout it from the rooftops because the facts are staring us in the face. His body of evidence, charting how decisions get made or don’t in a jaw-droppingly dysfunctional White House, is a welcome antidote to the daily blizzard of online agitprop, rumours and conspiracy theories.

Carrion. It's the stench of a mind-rotting Country.

New Yeah, that's not as convincing as you think it is...
New ROFL!
Alex

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

-- Isaac Asimov

New Well, ain't that the truth.
Clue: he didn't say it, and you didn't link to anything even close to him saying it.
New You're misinterpreting that.
It's widely reported that some/many of Trump's tweets are transcribed and posted by staff. It's totally believable that he would dictate a tweet saying "we're pulling dependents out of ROK" and expect someone to post it, and it not getting posted because people realize how dangerous it is.

It doesn't mean, at all, that his phone is hacked by Vlad or Kim.

HTH.

Cheers,
Scott.
New They HAVE to 'transcribe' it: it's his substitute for 'thinking-at-all'
Assemble all his utterances and whaddaya get?

(The very Proof of Chaos Theory--Mike?? is it another nondenumerable-infinity entry?)
New you mean all of the howling about late night stupidity tweeting as all a sham?
It's widely reported that some/many of Trump's tweets are transcribed and posted by staff.
really? have some samples of that?
if he was being edited maybe 1 in 10 tweets would be made. Does he dictate them? have any pics? or are "drafts of his tweets" residing on his phone until he presses send like every other user of the platform? So who is the traitor who is discussing his ideas with the north koreans? The idea that the pentagon and the north koreans are aware of the contents of his tweets is absurd on the face of it and damages any credibility of anything woodward pontificates.

Just who controls the Twitter handle @realDonaldTrump? If you guessed the president, journalist Robert Draper says you might be only partially correct.

Draper's recent New York Times Magazine article profiles White House social media director Dan Scavino — a man Draper estimates helps craft about half of the president's tweets.

Scavino first met Trump on the golf course in 1990, when he worked as Trump's caddie. Three decades later, Draper says, a certain golf-course dynamic still exists between the president and the man who helps manage his Twitter feed.

(Emphasis added.)

HTH.

Cheers,
Scott.
New NK doesn't have to know he's going to tweet something to guess he might
And the communique may have been something along the lines of, "if he says something stupid like this in a tweet, this is how we will take it".
