And what people don't understand is that there's about a 2 year lag. What they're experiencing is the Obama administration.
New no question that it is a lag, but for the same reasons trump cant claim the victory
obama cant take the credit, it was the fed policies that in the long run caused the increase in gdp

New There are some transient effects from trade war and tax changes.
For example lots of soy beans got moved before increased tariffs took hold.

Next quarter numbers will not look so hot.
