got this in an email from a recruiter yesterday:

Job Description:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

· 5 to 8 years of strong experience with C#, .Net, Visual Basic, JavaScript, VBScricpt

· 5 to 12 years of experience in IT not more than that

· Good knowledge of Windows OS environment

· Experience with troubleshooting problems in existing systems

· Experience with ClearCase and/or any enterprise source control management systems.

· Good knowledge of OOAD

· ATM working knowledge is added advantage

So if the typical college kid graduates at age 21, and has no more than 12 years of experience, that means that the recruiting agency or the client company doesn't want to see any resumes from people over the age of 35.

I forwarded this on to the EEOC.
