New Re: So, acid gave us Apple?
Not just Apple. A lot of the researchers at a couple of influential labs—Doug Englebart’s crew at SRI and John McCarthy's Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory—who laid the groundwork for what would become the “personal computer revolution” were, according to the book, doing acid at the time, and certainly their work, whether or not enhanced, as the author claims, by ergot-derived insights, found its way by and by to your desktop. See, if you have not already, Englebart’s Mother of All Demos from almost half a century ago.

cordially,
New Whether "enhanced" or not, are we truly the better for their work? I'm unconvinced.
