New What amazes me in this...
... is that the bulk of the visiting contingent did not end up booking a flight to Pyongyang (which seems to be buggering the newscasters more and more.)

New I think people might be really aware of that one.
Though when I first heard of where the Winter Olympics were going to be, I immediately wondered how many people are going to conflate the two.

Curiously, there's also a PyeongGang - yes, with an extra 'g'. It's a village in North Korea near the DMZ. Native Korean speakers hear the difference in those three names more readily than native English speakers do.
