Don't recall if the mere Threat to go to 'Bonding Co. did the trick, but cost for replacements installed: all paid. But then she also ... "won't be Rolled". (I shoulda thought of that example. Bad moi.

In fact, I learned that in TX general contractors are not required to be licensed by the state. A neighbor suggests going to local village hall building department and see if anyone would be nice enough to provide some info on him.
