New Scott A et musicians: Simone Dinnerstein/PBS *piano* and interview ~bio
Here for the half-hour.
..wanted Moar.

Camera moves about; for the young'uns:
See! the crossover-handds on the Goldberg
See her touch control!--to a fare - thee - well--on the sublime opening piece of Kinderscenen
[Schumann]

(Because of the 'distraction' maybe, for some artists?) we don't usually see such revealing keyboard views.
..but then after gawking at How magic is done ... I want to go back and just l i s t e n .

Bon appetít
New Looks so different from other pianists
Her hands are so small, it just doesn't look "right" almost.

[edit]

That last piece she plays ... holy shit.

New That's a major issue.
Aidan has fairly small hands right now and it severely limits the literature he can play. There are a number of pieces he simply can't play, or if he did, would injure himself playing.

He just got his first Rachmaninoff piece the other day and he's pretty excited about it.
