Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Something learned from N'Orleans re Texas evacuations:
I see PETS as regular co-occupants in the various water- and other vehicles. :-)

We may recall the stupid-Boolean decisions that, in town, in order to be picked up AT ALL by the (insufficient-) flotilla of boats:
YOU HAD TO LEAVE all animals behind; this with NO IDEA of when or *IF*
You.. or Anyone could return for same, or to provide food etc. until you could.
(Never found any stats of how many/few? said: Fuck You and the dinghy you rode in on: I'M STAYING).
I merely suspect that the ones who caved.. simply HAD-to go or die soon, given the guesstimates.

I recall some muttering later, that "this Would be changed, in Future" as horrific stories surfaced later of even:
pets finally tracked to 'rescue' destinations afar.. then Their Human had to fight with rescuer-human to get back THEIR OWN creature.

So, apparently.. the proverbial-'They' actually DID SOMETHING HUMAN (!!!) :-)
..Will send along a few Kudos.. later when the water has dropped a bit.
New Heck yeah: Don't pick up so many black kids, then there's room in the boat for Real People's animals
