The spousette’s was easy: the opposite of a lawyer is an agricultural grader (which appears to be the default opposite for a lot of professions). Since my own line of territory is less well-defined, I entered assorted plausible descriptions of my functions and was variously informed that my skillsets were opposite those of models, physicists and mobile home installers. None of these are fields of human endeavor to which I have ever aspired. Historians are unlike lumberjacks, and gifted architects should probably steer clear of the slaughterhouse and meat packing industry. Notwithstanding the cheery “Enter any job,” several possibilities I tried drew blanks. Have at it, if you like, here.
