...using Deep Sky Stacker. And wrote his own camera app? Silly boy. Should have got a Samsung phone. You can put those into pro mode and control ISO, focus and shutter speed (up to 10 seconds), without any of that tedious software development malarkey. There's also a literal gajillion camera apps on the store. But still, Stock Android, amirite! Interesting shots, though. You can see the inherent limitations of this technique (vs. a properly long exposure, say 30 seconds plus) in the oddly flat colour space and very small dynamic range. |
