but not the "500 years"/re Idiocracy which I realized I had snatched from a bargain-box a while back, but didn't yet view.. now I will. (It may provide a bit of comic relief, but {sadly..} hardly any surprise, I'll guess) Meanwhile the Darth Drumpf Beat goes on: let's kill off the PBS, The Arts (∑ I guess; all this in addition to the Main War: on about anything that was still admirable in the dis-US. The longer this nut-case goes without mandatory hospitalization ... the less there will be left to 'save', I wot. |

Not sure I agree
It's satire about sophomoric people. That's a fuzzy line, but IMO there's a difference between dumb jokes and jokes about dumb people. Damn, now I want to watch it again. -- Drew |
