New Posting from the land of perpetual rain.
The natives call it Los Angeles County.

It's been raining so long I don't remember when it wasn't raining. Torrential rains are just occasional, light rains fairly frequent, and some drizzle - and in between is rain you can't see, but you can certainly feel it. It's called "low clouds and heavy fog" around here.
New At least the canals are being tested.

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge."

-- Isaac Asimov
New You're not alone, in the Southern wastelands..
'It's' Here, too: Sonoma Creek aka Sonoma River, up to banks, thus raising local soil/water-level and on down to The Basement de Moi.
Curse! You! Hydronium-run-amok

Had both pumps fired up periodically (in early years here, that went on for weeks on the first soggy occasion. A record breaker just por Moi.))
No sweat this time except for the full-cliche: small pump failed, though it hadn't been needed for years!

Guess these strange events simply echo the larger-chaos of there being A Drumpf in the W.H.
Nature follows these waves of anti-nurture..? Fancy that!
